Has Vince Staples inked a new record deal? It looks like it.
According to Complex, Vince has signed a new record deal with Def Jam Recordings. Although no public announcement has been made by Def Jam or Vince himself, the deal comes to light thanks to Earl Sweatshirt's Doris album.
Being spotted on the credit notes of Earl's album, Vince, who is on three songs, is listed on the project as "courtesy of Blacksmith/A.G./Def Jam Recordings". And when the Long Beach native was asked about the deal, Vince and his camp had declined to comment. If this is all true, which it believes to be, more information will likely emerge in the upcoming weeks.
He is currently working on his upcoming project Shyne Collection Vol. 2, which is a follow-up to his debut mixtape.
