Over the weekend, it was reported that Paris Jackson, the oldest daughter of pop-legend Michael Jackson, had her family members worried for her safety following a video of Paris walking along the ledge of a skyscraper.
Members of Paris' family compared the stunt to the famous incident where Michael held his son Blanket over a balcony, and said that, "She’s lost it. She really has," and that, "everyone will regret it if she dies out there." Paris obviously didn't die during the shooting of the video, and has now taken to her Instagram story to offer a response to the family members talking to the media.
In the video, Paris is sitting in her car alongside one of her friends. She says, "Apparently people think I'm about to die," adding, "My therapist texted me about it, laughing though, which is good." So it seems Paris and her therapist are both in agreement that she's not in any danger of dying any time soon, which is good.
She then goes on to directly address her worried family members, saying, "So, I guess to all the family members who are talking to all these news outlets saying you're worried for me: when was the last time you called me?"
Paris continues, "Prince isn't worried. Why? Because we talk all the time, we hang out," adding, "If you're worried about me, call me."
It appears that this entire situation was more family business than an actual scare. You can check out part of Paris' response in the video below.
