If you’re unaware, Lil Scrappy was involved in a serious car accident a couple weeks ago when he fell asleep behind the wheel and crashed into a utility pole on a highway in Miami. Scrappy & his buddy who was riding with him, Casino Roulette, are lucky to be alive after both suffering serious injuries and having been hospitalized for a few days. Scrappy got the least of the injuries as he suffered a broken foot & probably a concussion, but his homie riding with him got the worst of it.
Having spent 3 days in the ICU, Casino suffered broken ribs, concussion, bruised lungs, liver and kidneys, and two major surgeries to repair his ruptured large intestine. He was released a few days ago and is currently recovering in his home in South Carolina. However with all the expenses that are about to come from the hospital and his life being seriously threatened, Casino is reportedly lawyering up now.
TMZ reports that Casino's attorney, Brett L. Schlacter, told them his client sustained life-altering injuries and is "lucky to be alive." He feels Scrappy was negligent and reckless when he fell asleep at the wheel, and should be accountable.
Schlacter says Casino's pursuing legal action to cover medical expenses, and to get compensation for life-altering injuries and significant wage loss.
This report ironically comes just hours after Scrappy came out and said that he drove 11 hours during the day and through 3 different states all prior to falling asleep behind the wheel the night of his accident. So he pretty much admitted his wrongdoing, which probably won’t go good for him with this lawsuit now.
Scrappy has yet to comment or respond to this news of the lawsuit so who knows if this will ultimately hurt or ruin their friendship, but I'm sure he'll speak soon. We’ll definitely keep you posted moving forward.
