The hip-hop community is still in the shock following news that Mac Miller passed away in his L.A. home Friday due to a suspected overdose. Post Malone was one of many artists to share his condolences on Twitter after hearing of the tragedy, and he's further elaborated on what Mac meant to him in a conversation with TMZ.
The rapper, though visibly emotional when approached by a cameraman, was willing to share some words of remembrance for his friend. "He was such a beautiful fucking dude and such a sweet dude and loved everybody," he said. "I grew up listening to his music and he really inspired me. This fucking sucks, man. He was too sweet, super nice. We played beer pong at the studio and he kicked ass."
He then echoed Mac's recent statement that the two were thinking about doing an entire project together. "We were supposed to do an album," he said. "But I love him to death and we're all thinking about you and we miss you buddy, very, very much."
