Metro Boomin is the hero we all deserve. The St. Louis producer expressed his intentions to leave the game early in his career, causing a mild panic from those who have been rocking with him for years. The 25-year-old master producer's trust became imperative to hip-hop fans who were looking for those trunk rattling bangers that launched Metro into the stratosphere. Choosing to leave retirement, Metro decided that the game needed saving with his new album Not All Heroes Wear Capes.
The 13 track album features appearances from Drake, Gunna, Young Thug, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Wizkid, Gucci Mane, and more. Metro teased Not All Heroes Wear Capes with mysterious billboards placed in New York and Atlanta last week. The advertisements featured a picture of the producer with the caption "MISSING. HAVE YOU SEEN THIS MAN?," sparking speculation that a new project was on the way. Still, none were prepared for the astonishing gift that Metro was prepping to release. The billboards also spelled out the title of the album right in front of viewers, but the ingenious marketing wasn't meant to connect all the dots until now. Not All Heroes Wear Capes is available for stream on Spotify, Apple Music, and Tidal.
