In "Fortnite," communication is key.

Anyone who plays video games knows that communication is the difference between elite teams, and lackluster ones. Teammates who call out enemy positions, loot locations, map aberrations, and looming danger tend to live longer. The gamers running around in confusion are most likely the guys who can't hear each other. Fortnite developer Epic Games acknowledges this fact, and is currently working on an update to bring party chat to the mobile version of their game.

According to Epic Games' blog, the development team is working on a list of updates. "We know that communication is key when you’re squadding up for that Victory Royale, so we’re working to bring voice chat to mobile. On top of that, you’ll be able to chat with your teammates regardless of platform," states the blog. Other updates they are working on include a customizable HUD, reduction of the mobile game installation size, an Android update, game performance coding, and stability upgrades that will help stop in-game crashes.

Android users have been waiting patiently for Fornite Mobile to launch on their phones, and Epic Games revealing that the launch will come this Summer is sure to be met with excitement. "We are targeting this summer for the release," states the blog. "We know many of you are excited for this release, and we promise that when we have more information to share, you’ll hear it from us first." On iOS, Fortnite Mobile is a hit, and became the most downloaded app for Apple phones almost instantly.
