Ingraham: "the America we know and love doesn't exist anymore."

On Wednesday night, Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham performed a monologue on her show that has been condemned for its resonance with the language of white supremacy. She bemoaned that fact that "the America we know and love doesn't exist anymore," going on to say that this is the result of "massive demographic changes" that she says "have been foisted on the American people, and they are changes that none of us ever voted for, and most of us don't like." The anchor said that "this is related to both illegal and legal immigration" but also "there is something slipping away in this country and it's not about race or ethnicity."

She found support for her statement form David Duke, the former Grand Wizard of the KKK, who said in a now-deleted tweet: "One of the most important (truthful) monologues in the history of the MSM." Dissent came in the form of a tweet from representative Tammy Duckworth (no relation to Kendrick), who said:

A day after the controversial segment, Ingraham returned to the air in an effort to clarify her position, saying that she doesn't support white supremacy and doesn't except the kudos of people like David Duke, calling his views "antithetical" to hers. She also said that her statement was "not about race."
