A former Playboy Playmate leapt off the balcony of her NYC hotel with her 7-year-old son, killing the both of them instantly. Stephanie Adams, who was the publication's Miss November 1992, was found dead early Friday morning around 8:15 am.
Adams and her son checked into Gotham Hotel Thursday evening around 6:00pm, and were lodging in a penthouse suite on the 25th floor, NYPD Chief of Manhattan Detectives William Aubrey revealed during a press conference. Their bodies were eventually found on a second-floor landing in the building's rear courtyard.
"Early this morning investigators located an individual whose attention was drawn to that same second-floor area when he heard two loud noises. His attention was drawn to that and he discovered these two deceased individuals," Aubrey said.
Adams was recently engaged in a bitter custody battle with ex-husband Charles Nicolai, owner of Wall Street Chiropractic & Wellness. Their relationship was reportedly riddled with violent behaviour.
