Will Captain America make it out of Avengers 4 alive? I think not. Chris Evans has spent the last 8 years playing the leader of the Avengers, but with the completion of Avengers 4 filming, his contract has come to an end. Evans has stated in the past that after his contract is up he would be leaving the character behind and diving into producing and directing films. He is one of the only actors who knows how Avengers 4 will end, and actually took the script home with him for the final two Avengers films. That's unheard of with Marvel Studios, as most of their actors are only given the full script for a reading in a windowless room without access to a cell phone. Then again, many of their actors don't get to read full scripts at all. With a new captain (Captain Marvel) about to make a debut, it looks like the Avengers will have a new leader soon enough.
Chris Evans shared an emotional tweet after he finished filming Avengers 4 on Thursday morning. "Officially wrapped on Avengers 4. It was an emotional day to say the least," he wrote. If that isn't a hint at Cap's end, I'm not sure what is. "Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor," he continued. "To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful."
