Jamie Foxx doesn't star in enough movies. The talented comedian/singer/actor was last seen in Baby Driver as Bats, and has several projects on the way in the coming months. Still, Foxx has the type of personable on-screen magic that makes actors like Dwayne Johnson loveable, so he should be pumping out films at the same rate as the wrestler turned movie star. Later this year, Foxx is set to star in Robin Hood as Little John, then he's expected to begin work on a reboot of Spawn. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Foxx is also in talks to star alongside Michael B. Jordan in a new legal drama.
Michael B. Jordan has been around for quite some time, I remember watching him as a child on The Wire. His fame began to reach feverish heights after he starred in Creed though, and Black Panther made Jordan one of the most recognized faces in the world. He is set to star in Just Mercy, a film based on the Bryan Stevenson memoirs of the same name. The movie will explore the case that propelled the career of the creator of the Equal Justice Initiative. The initiative is designed to help the poor, the wrongfully convicted, and death-row inmates that are trapped in the justice system. Foxx is in talks to join Jordan in the film, which is being directed by Destin Daniel Cretton.
