Femdot drops off his new song, "Happy December."

Chicago's been an incredible hub for some of the most innovating sounds in music. From deep house and jazz to drill and hip-hop in general, Chicago has introduced new styles and sounds to the music industry. Artists like Chance The Rapper and Noname are the new faces of the city's hip-hop scene. Femdot is one of the latest rappers from Chicago to emerge in recent years who carries a similar vibe to the previously mentioned artists. He recently came through with a new track to close out a highly successful year titled, "Happy December."

Femdot hasn't released much music since Delacreme 2 earlier this year, but before he closes out the year, he blesses us with his new track, "Happy December." The new single follows the release of his music video for "Snow In July." He grabs Shawnee Dez for some additional vocals while hopping over some spacey, jazzy production. Femdot gets introspective on the record, opening up about the struggles he's faced over the years and the troubles he sees his friends go through.

Peep his new track below.

Quotable Lyrics
Everybody fightin' demons, it ain't perfect as it seem
I'm learnin' to listen more, expose all my feelings more
Still manage my energy, love to love, not to fill a void
My broski been a plug, he move work just to feel employed
