Instagram is adding even more to the list of exciting updates and changes that are being introduced to the app. The photo-sharing platform previously entertained the idea of allowing hour-long videos, but before that rolls out officially, they have added another feature to Instagram stories.
Starting today, users can click a shopping bag sticker on items they see in someone's story and they will be transferred over to the official site to shop the look. “With 300M using Instagram Stories everyday, people are increasingly finding new products from brands they love,” Instagram said in a press release. “In a recent survey, Instagrammers said they often watch stories to stay in the-know with brands they’re interested in, get an insider view of products they like, and find out about new products that are relevant to them.”
adidas, Louis Vuitton and Aritzia are some of the first retailers to take part in the new move, but we can only assume the feature will be heavily available to influencers as well.
