Chris Paul has listed his Houston home for sale as the Rockets continue their first-round playoff battle against the Minnesota Timberwolves. As they currently lead the series 2-1, CP3 may not see a long future in the city as a realtor is assisting Paul in selling his mansion for $6,975,000. While he may be looking to move closer to the Toyota Center as he is currently situated about one hour away from the arena where his team plays, the timing of the listing is a little odd. With the Rockets point guard's contract up at the end of the season, CP3 could be looking to move elsewhere in the offseason.
Of course, the sale could also mean absolutely nothing. If you're interested in living in the same home as the former Los Angeles Clipper, you will have to cough up nearly $7 million as the Houston mansion is currently listed at just under that. The 14-bathroom, 9-bedroom home was built on a golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus. Car enthusiasts will also be glad about the 6-car garage that is being advertised with the home. Paul purchased the property shortly after being traded to the Houston Rockets and while the sale of it makes his future with the Rockets questionable, the team has a good chance of going far in the playoffs and who would leave that.
