Spitta kicks off the "Pilot Talk 4" rollout with a smooth cut.

Curren$y took a break from his true love - automobiles - to spend some time with his sweet mistress: planes. Kicking back on the private jet, Spitta watches longingly as cars roam the freeways below, antlike in size. Meanwhile, the smooth sounds of "Grand" fills the air, heralding the arrival of his upcoming Pilot Talk 4 album, which is set to arrive at some point in the new year. Spitta confirmed as much a few days back, teasing an "IV" alongside an unfamiliar and promising snippet.

Now, the Jet Life rapper has released a new track for the streets, the laid back "Grand." Of course, the majority of Spitta's tracks can be qualified as "laid back," given his effortless flow and casual swagger. Yet despite his aloof nature, his bars and flow remain technically sound, as he rides the beat with a veteran's poise. "Press a button in my car, my roof came off," raps Spitta, "you gon' cry in the bus stop, or this Ferrari darlin'."

Be sure to check out "Grand" now, and keep a watchful eye out for that upcoming Pilot Talk 4 album.

Quotable Lyrics

Welcome to the layer cake, take a loss bounce back
Game cost, you gon have to pay the boss
Press a button in my car, my roof came off
You gon' cry in the bus stop, or this Ferrari darlin'
