It's been over a week and a half since Kanye West tweeted that the beef between G.O.O.D Music and Drake has ended. Since then, J. Prince has been on a media run promoting his upcoming book but mainly answering questions about his involvement in ending the feud between Pusha T and Drake. He's previously said that Drake has a "career-ending" diss track in the cut, although Push doesn't seem to concerned with whatever that means. However, in a recent interview, Pusha T revealed that there was never any mention of a "career-ending" diss track nor did he think Pusha T would get involved.
Pusha T recently joined NORE and DJ EFN on the latest episode of Drink Champs. They ultimately spoke about the Drake beef and Push got into some details about the whole thing. He said that he doesn't have anything "career-ending" in the closet and what's even more interesting, is that part was never brought up in the conversation between Prince and Push's manager.
"Whatever their decision is or decision-making is is based off of what's best for them. I don't know what ends my career. I ain't ever told on nobody. I am who I am. I don’t even know what's career-ending these days, but whatever it is, I ain't done it." He said. "At the end of the day, like I said, those conversations were had and those conversations were had without that soundbite."
Pusha T later reveals that the "career-ending" narrative came up after the conversation was had between Prince and Push's management. After N.O.R.E. asked Push if he thought J. Prince would intervene, Push responded, "That's the last person I thought would be speaking."
Push also reveals that he had the picture of Drake in black face even before he released "Infrared." The conversation with Drink Champs details some of the early stages of the beef going all the way back to the early 2000's.
