Oprah Winfrey will be given the honour of christening a new Holland America cruise ship, aptly titled Nieuw Statendam. The vessel will be able to comfortably carry 2,666 passengers, and will debut sometime in December.
Holland America and Winfrey have collaborated in the past, as the media personality and business magnate set sail on a O, The Oprah Magazine-themed cruise last year, which included mediation classes, tai chi, on-board book clubs and healthy cooking classes.
The company also announced that Winfrey will partake in a three-day "girls' getaway" cruise that will depart from Fort Lauderdale on January 30, 2019, stopping at Holland America's private island in The Bahamas.
Passengers who are lucky enough to cop a spot on the three-day event will have a chance to attend one of three "Conversations with Oprah" events onboard.
