The biggest video game expo in the world, E3, is taking place in Los Angeles. The event is massive in every way, and several celebrities and prominent figures in Hollywood descend upon the expo ready to be teased with new content. Game publishers and developers showcase their latest work, while consoles like PlayStation, Xbox, and Microsoft compete to show off games and updates to attract new consumers. Gamers have been surprised by several announcements, including a new Halo, and a third Kingdom Hearts. During the entertaining expo, a Fortnite Pro-Am tournament was held for celebrities. The stars that won the competition were awarded $1 million, and you could already imagine who that would be.
World renown video game streamer Ninja teamed up with DJ Marshmello, and the duo won the tournament. Anyone that teams up with Ninja is assured a win, so it really wasn't a fair tournament to begin with. Still, celebrities such as Ty Dolla $ign, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Lil Yatchy, Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz, NBA players Paul George and Andre Drummond, and NFL star Tarik Cohen also competed. CouRage JD and NBA star Kenneth Faried finished in second place and won $500,000. All of the awarded money will be given to a charity of the celebrity teams' choice.
