New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge has officially agreed to a multiyear sponsorship deal with Adidas, after repping for Under Armour since 2014. Judge, who has been rocking Adidas gear throughout spring training, smashed a rookie-record 52 home runs for the Yanks last season and was named the American League Rookie of the Year.

In signing with Adidas baseball, Judge joins a crop of Major League Baseball's rising stars that includes Chicago Cubs' third baseman, Kris Bryant, Houston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa and Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Marcus Stroman, who left Jordan Brand to sign with Adidas this off-season.

According to the Adidas press release, Judge will collaborate on the designs of future footwear, apparel and equipment for Adidas Baseball. The 25-year old right fielder stated that the brand “has a ton of momentum and everything the brand is doing right now stands out from the rest and challenges the status quo. I couldn’t be more excited to be joining the adidas family. I’ve been a fan of adidas for a long time and from the beginning of our conversations, this just felt right to me. I never dreamed of an opportunity like this and I can’t wait to see what we create together."

The Yankees will kick off the MLB season tomorrow in Toronto at approximately 3:37pm ET.
