Technology just keeps getting better. It's hard to imagine that just ten years ago, flip phones like the Razr and the black and white screened iPod were the hottest items around. Apple has stepped their game up heavily since then, helping lead the technological wave with innovative and creative ideas.
When news broke that Apple was releasing a new iPad, fans of the ultra slim tablet were excited to see what new features would be offered. Apple did not fail to deliver. The tech company hosted an event on Tuesday (March 27), in Chicago that highlighted a plethora of new gadgets, updates, software, and hardware that the company plans to introduce this year. Besides a discount on the latest iPad for students and educational outlets, the latest Apple tablet will feature Touch ID, an HD Facetime Camera, an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 10-hour battery life.
Via The Verge, a condensed video that showcases the best of the Apple Education event was released. During the 11-minute video, Apple showcases a new app for teachers called Schoolwork that allows educators to distribute notes, homework, and other learning materials digitally.
