Lil Wayne's Miami Heat tirade got the attention of more than one Miami native. First Uncle Luke spoke out, then Trick Daddy, and most recently, pop star Pitbull. Lil Wayne has since apologized to the city of Miami (although he did not take back what he said about Chris Bosh and the NBA), and he has now responded to Pitbull, with a tweet acknowledging him.
On Pitbull's diss track, "Welcome To Dade County," he spits at Wayne, "Here's a deposition: watch what you speak / Who’s the definition of Miami? Me. / You talk Miami, if you talkin’ heat / Moral of the story: don’t shit where you eat." Wayne had far less words for Pitbull. He tweeted, "Dam pit bull bro I thought u was kool."
We'll have to wait and see if the beef subsides or if Wayne decides to record his own diss track.
[UPDATE: Pitbull responds to Lil Wayne on Twitter.]
Pitbull took to Twitter to respond to Wayne's comment. He said to Weezy, "I am cool papo but imagine me shitting on anything new orleans which I was just there for super bowl the big easy I loved it." The popstar added, "the world shows me love and vice versa but miami is all I got no disrespect just the truth."
