The long-awaited Stoney follow-up album from Post Malone has had a cloud of mystery looming over it for what feels like forever. While it has been in the works for a while, it was expected to release in December of last year but was curiously pushed back. The secretive nature of the album was beginning to become frustrating until "Rockstar" was released with 21 Savage, bringing back the mystery involved in Beerbongs & Bentleys. While the rollout of the album has been mainly concealed, more information has broken out by way of Post Malone's manager Dre London.
Following a late-night studio session, Posty's manager uploaded a photo to his Instagram story which shows the tracklist for B&B. Only one song is written so far, being the opener "Rockstar," but the post reveals much more. The album will expectedly be 18 tracks long, and Post's team has begun working on the final selection of what is making the cut. Dre London and Posty were in the studio until the early hours of the morning, finishing four more songs for the album before calling it a night.
An 18-song tracklist seems to follow the recent trend of creating longer projects, which artists like Chris Brown and the Migos have capitalized on. Although musical quality will always outweigh quantity in many people's minds, if all 18 songs are quality tracks, we could be in for a treat come release time. Post's manager finished off by saying that Beerbongs & Bentleys is coming soon, which, in artist terms, could mean anytime in the next year.
