Mac Miller's estate has put together a 48-hour merch sale. All the proceeds will benefit the charity named in his honour, "The Mac Miller Circles Fund." The MMCF's first order of business was to organize the Mac Miller Tribute that took place last night at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
Many of Mac's contemporaries offered their presence "pro bono," artists such as Chance the Rapper, Action Bronson, Anderson .Paak, J.I.D, SZA, Thundercat, ScHoolboy Q, Travis Scott, Ty Dolla $ign, and Vince Staples to name a few.
The only item available for purchase in the 48-hour merch sale is a long sleeve tee designed by Jeremy Dean & John Mayer, yes the same John Mayer that puts Midlothian cougars to bed with his guitar. Jeremy Dean is, of course, a celebrated graphic design artist born in Mac Miller home state of Pennsylvania, in North Wales, a little town on the outskirts of Philadelphia.
The design is simple: a white backdrop, doodles on the breast pocket and sleeves, specifically the insignia "Swim Forever." A cartoon relic of a deep sea diver costume takes up the back end of the shirt along with the inscription: "To A Place Where Time Don't End," a theme Mac covered on the song "Perfecto."
You can cop the shirt right here, within the next 48 hours.
