It's been months since Metro Boomin hinted that he would be retiring from the game. While the industry is currently flooded with a slew of talented artists and producers, his presence has very much been missed. Yesterday was the one year anniversary of Without Warning, a collaborative album between himself, 21 Savage and Offset and all the signs pointed to the three teasing a sequel. Their tweets served as decent evidence but it seems as though the trio were preparing the fans for another announcement. Metro Boomin came through yesterday to reveal the name of his comeback project, Not All Heroes Wear Capes. Shortly after, he shared the official cover art for the album and it appears as though it's going to blow your mind.
The image shows a giant blast with a man being propelled from the impact. Hopefully, Metro's production bangs as hard as whatever the dude in the cover was bumping because we're all hoping for some innovative sounds from the young beatmaker. In the past, Metro has proven to be at the top of not only his game, but a leader among a group of producers. There is not yet a release date for Not All Heroes Wear Capes but we're hoping to hear it sooner rather than later.
21 Savage and Offset seem excited about the news, helping to hype it up with their own posts and comments. Check out the art below and give us your thoughts.
