While he has shown to be consistent in the quality of his music, Jazz Cartier has been absent for a minute at this point. 2018 could be a big year for Jazz as the Torontonian looks to expand his brand through the release of his next album FLEUREVER. Announcing his upcoming single last week, the anticipation has been high for Jacuzzi's new music and the man behind the mic has shared a short snippet of the track on social media. Previewing a melodic dexterity that we have become accustomed to from Jazz, the Canadian sings, "I need you right now/ No dress, no nightgown/ Right now, I just, want you, right now," in a split vocal pattern.
The song sounds like a potential banger and, comparing the extremely short clip to some of the better tracks in Cuzzi's catalog, this song could be high on the list. The Toronto native fails to disappoint, releasing the slept-on Hotel Paranoia in 2016 but becoming relatively quiet since then. Jazz previously announced that the song would be released April 6 and with a new month now just a few days away, we couldn't be more excited.
With his album expected to release later this year, the upcoming single will set the tone for what we can expect on the project soundwise. Listen to the preview below.
