Twitter is one of the best tools that celebrities have. It allows them to connect with fans without having to use the press. Fifteen years ago, artists were reliant on the press to tell their side of a story, now they can simply tweet. Kim Kardashian West has 60 million followers on Twitter, and she uses the platform on a daily basis. Like many social media users, Kim has her moments of grammatical error. Twitter users have been asking for an edit button for years, and recently, Kim spoke with the CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, about adding an edit feature.
Billionaire Jack Dorsey and Kim met at her husband Kanye West's birthday party this past weekend. In a tweet on Tuesday, Kim wrote, " I had a very good convo with @jack this weekend at Kanye’s bday and I think he really heard me out on the edit button." Dorsey jokingly replied, "Now I see why I was invited!" According to Variety, Dorsey revealed that he was working on adding an edit button to Twitter in 2016, but nothing has happened since then. In other news, Kim used her powers of persuasion to convince Donald Trump to commute the prison sentence of Alice Johnson, a first-time nonviolent drug offender who had served 21 years of a life sentence without possibility of parole. Maybe Kim's persuasion will work on Dorsey as well.
