Pusha T is coming off the release of his third studio album a few weeks ago called DAYTONA, which reignited the feud with Drake that escalated into eventual diss tracks. But the record that really kicked off the album & set the tone was the intro song “If You Know You Know,” which will serve as the first single off the album. Today, Push decides to give the record an added push by releasing its official video exclusively on Spotify.
“I look at myself as a person who definitely has made it out,” Pusha-T said about the record. “I look at myself as an artist who has weathered the storm on so many different occasions. Even pre-career, just weathered the streets and made it through. People know my story and they know how many close calls and things, and people next to me have been fell victim to incarcerations and so on and so forth.”
As for the video, it finds Push spitting his respective bars in front of a foggy red backdrop, while portraying racial injustice & police misconduct as home footage of cops pulling him over in his white Lambo appears throughout the clip. It follows up his latest performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last week.
Check out the official video right here on Spotify and look for it to hit Youtube in the next day or so. Record available on iTunes. (Included below is Pusha's newly-released lyric video for the song as well.)
