As music continues to evolve, especially on the end of hip-hop and R&B, there's a noticeable void of the boy bands and girl groups that once dominated the latter. It raises the question of whether or not the same magic that surrounded such acts from the early aughts can be restored.
Enter: Good Girl, a female quartet who most recently launched with an impressionable debut “I Can Be Yours,” calling on A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie for a verse on the cut. On it, the Philly-bred group of singers make an entrance with flirtatious vibes and vibrancy across the board as they assume the classic roles of the girls next door with a twist.
Now, Good Girl returns with a new video to accompany the track. Giving us equal parts playful and sensuous, the video is fit for the radio-ready cut and serves a great introduction to the set of X-Factor alumni.
