Lil Boosie, born Torrence Hatch, is suing a number of parties after he alleges he got pepper sprayed for no reason. According to The Blast, Boosie is going after Dillard’s department store, Edgewater Mall and the Biloxi Police Department (all in Mississippi) claiming that a law enforcement officer said racial slurs at he and his family and then pepper sprayed him.
The city's response to the case brings up Boosie's past where the "No Juice" rapper was charged in May 2017 for disorderly conduct and interference with a business leading to his "cooperative" arrest on December 4th.
The publication says the city wants out of the lawsuit because the man who attacked Boosie was off-duty at the time and the department alleges he was acting out of self-defense - claiming Boosie and his entourage attacked the officer. Police also claim Boosie “disrupted the flow of normal business inside Dillard’s,” and allegedly struck a guard outside the mall.
Boosie is set to go to court on April 18th. Boosie also claims the pepper spray caused his cousin to give premature birth to two babies who now have respiratory issues.
