In celebration of Nike Air Max Day yesterday Nike teamed up with HQ Trivia to sponsor a surprise bonus round with a $100,000 grand prize, as well as a special edition colorway of the Nike Air Max 270. The 15-question game featured a number of topics related to Nike footwear including Nike athletes, Kobe's signature sneakers and the inventor of Air Max.
In the end, four lucky winner split the $100,000 grand prize and each was also gifted the HQ Trivia x Nike Air Max 270. In total, Nike made 100 pairs of the kicks, which are built on a white upper accompanied by an indigo blue heel, and the HQ logo on the heel-tab of the shoe. As of now it's unclear what Nike plans to do with the other 96 sneakers that went unclaimed.
According to reports, HQ trivia will also have a $250,000 grand prize game on Wednesday, which will be sponsored by the upcoming Steven Spielberg film Ready Player One.
