Earlier this week, Justin Bieber confirmed his engagement to Hailey Baldwin. The singer reportedly popped the question during a vacay in the Bahamas. For a few days after the engagement, neither Baldwin or Bieber really opened up about the engagement on social media or otherwise but Baldwin was spotted rocking her engagement ring which was enough of a confirmation for the internet. The owner of the jewelry store that designed the ring and shared a bit of backstory on how his relationship with Justin Bieber began.
Jack Solow of Solow & Co created the engagement ring that Bieber proposed to Baldwin with. Speaking to TMZ, he explained that he originally met Bieber through his manager Scooter Braun. Solow said that Braun is a close family friend. Bieber spoke to Solow a few weeks a go and inquired about buying the ring. Bieber ultimately deicided on a large, oval-shaped diamond between 6 to 10 carats. Solow personally met up with Bieber at his hotel right before he left to the Bahamas with Baldwin to personally hand him the ring.
While he didn't confirm the price tag to TMZ, their sources said it was close to half a million dollars.
Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin were only dating a month before he popped the question. However, he reportedly asked for Hailey's father's blessing before he proposed.
