GoldLink has come through with some great news for his 61.2 thousand Twitter followers today by announcing that new music will be dropping "soon," A.K.A. tomorrow. The "Crew" hitmaker dropped his last album, At What Cost, in March of last year but he's been steadily working behind the scenes and even hopped on a few tracks as of late.
This year alone he joined Kaytranada and Craig David on "Live In The Moment," Tom Misch's "Lost In Paris," and more recently Christina Aguilera's "Like I Do." Considering the number of collaborations he's done recently (we only named a few) we can't say for sure if his new track will feature anyone else but him, whatever he chooses we're here for it.
GoldLink's last tape was made to relive a time in his "life during the go-go era, "remembering when he would attend such parties in the early 2000's n DC and PG County. " I remember when it was popping for my generation and how that felt and what it looked like," he told Noisey. If GoldLink's (born D'Anthony Carlos) last musical offering was a flashback of feels to the early 2000's, we can hardly wait for what's next so we can feel the time and the vibe he wants to explore next.
