The long-awaited sequel to Flocka's breakthrough debut album is coming this fall.

Waka Flocka's long-awaited album Flockavelli 2 has a new release date. According to a post made to the Atlanta rapper's Instagram Sunday, the oft-delayed project will be released October 5th, a full year after the date shared last July. Waka also shared an image which appears to be the cover of the project. View it below.

Earlier today, Waka reflected on the influence of the original Flockavelli, which, produced largely by Lex Luger, set the blueprint for a lot of the Atlanta trap that followed. "The reason hiphop sound like it is today," he wrote of the project. "This the album that opened the door for all the young n***as!!!! Watching this generation let me know I did my part Blood Sweat & Bloody Tears ... 11 years in with a label and a beautiful wife and daughter ♥️ #RapGod #StreetLegend ..... A REAL GROWN ASS MAN business!!! Long Live My YoungN Slim Fucking Dunkin Squaddd."

Back in 2015, Waka suggested that Flockavelli 2 would feature Jay-Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Drake, and 50 Cent. It is unclear if any of these collaborations will make the final cut of the project over three years later. Waka released the Flockaveli 1.5 mixtape in 2015. In March, he teamed with Zaytoven and Big Bank for the Brick House Boyz mixtape.
