Reebok and contemporary NYC-based label, Pyer Moss, teamed up earlier this year to create the unisex DMX Fusion Experiment, which originally released in an all-white colorway in March. Today, Reebok and Pyer Moss have unveiled the counterpart, an all-back DMX Fusion Experiment, which is set to launch on June 15th for the retail price of $180.
The DMX Fusion Experiment is an aesthetic evolution and its bold design pays homage to the DMX Run 10, an iconic running sneaker with a history of disrupting the style agenda through innovative tech. Reimagined for 2018, the futuristic silhouette combines Reebok Classic’s heritage with Pyer Moss’ unique take on streetwear.
DMX technology fuses with the sock-like ankle runner, creating a conceptual reference to Pyer Moss’ inspiration of air drop containers and the multiple straps used to tie them down. The endless lacing options encourages wearers to switch the design at their heart's content, allowing them to fit and customize to their personal style.
Consumers will be able to sign up on Reebok.com to purchase a pair in advance of the June 15th release date. Winning customers will be chosen at random.
