As MMG continues to expand, not only as a movement, but as a label, more help is needed to take care of the many aspects of the business. Thus MMG announced today that Young Sav would take on the position of Vice President, and in such capacity he would be responsible for taking care of the growing number of artists on the MMG roster, as well as helping grow and develop their careers and finds new artists for the label.
Billboard reports that MMG announced the news today. Young Sav had a few words to say on the new endeavor, as did MMG boss Rick Ross. Rick Ross said of his new VP, "Feels great calling one of the hardest workers and few people I consider a close friend the new VP of MMG."
Young Sav expressed his excitement for the new job, "I am extremely excited to embark on this new path in my career. I appreciate Ross for noticing my grind, work ethic and giving me a major opportunity to not only be apart of this label, but also help execute his vision. It's going to be a privilege to work with the brand and assist in taking it to the next tier. All of the artists on the roster are amazing. I'm ready to get to work."
Young Sav is known for his work at the Best of Both Offices, as well as working for many years with Def Jam.
