The tragic Waffle House shooting that took place in Nashville, Tenessee today was diffused by one brave man by the name of James Shaw. After 29-year-old Travis Reinking walked into the restaurant and opened fire, tragically killing four and injuring two, he put this gun down to reload where James saw his window to attack the man.
"Look at this real life American Hero single handily stood up to a member of Vanilla Isis, risked his life to save himself and the life of others," C Tha God captioned a video of James explaining what happened. "No telling how many more innocent people that terrorist would have killed if James Shaw Jr [...] didn’t act. God Bless this King and he deserves a Medal of Honor and free Waffle House for the rest of his life."
"I remember I was like 'Dang, I'm basically in a barrel'," James previously stated. "There is no place for me to go. I... remember thinking that he is going to have to work for this kill," he continued. "I had a chance to stop him and thankfully I stopped him. I grabbed the gun and kept it down. He had one hand on it. I pulled it away and threw it over the bar."
