Black Panther came through and crushed the box-office last month, and it became the number one domestic superhero movie of all time. Next month, Avengers Infinity War will undoubtedly unseat the Panther. The super Marvel team-up stars almost every hero that has been on screen in the MCU for the past decade. The promo-train for Infinity War is at full steam, and Marvel Studios released an epic movie poster last week that will have you staring for hours.
Commercials and promo art have been hitting the web daily, giving eager fans a glimpse into what will no doubt be the biggest film in the last decade. Recently, a new TV spot revealed new footage featuring Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man and Tom Hollands SpiderMan. In the short trailer, Iron Man pats SpiderMan on the shoulder, like a priest would, and christen him an Avenger. "All right kid, you're an Avenger now," states Tony. The achievement is one that SpiderMan fought to accomplish for the entirety of his solo film, Homecoming. The heartfelt moment will undoubtedly be broken up by Thanos, the biggest villain in Marvel's catalog.
Avengers Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Josh Brolin, and Chris Pratt. It hits theaters on April 27, worldwide.
