This year's been filled with a lot of ups and downs for Offset. Despite his growing success, the rapper has been involved in several legal issues. A few months a go, the rapper and his wife, Cardi B were sued for an alleged beat down of an autograph hound who approached the couple after the Met Gala. However, it looks like that might not be the only lawsuit he has to respond to.
Offset is accused of owing a Miami-based personal styling company thousands of dollars worth of merchandise, TheBlast reports. The Meyhem Group has filed a lawsuit against the rapper for allegedly refusing to pay for the goods that he purchased.
They claim that they hooked Offset up with $11,699.60 worth of goods. They said that he "acknowledges he owes but still has refused to pay.” They said that they showed him the receipts to the purchases but they've had no luck in receiving payment.
The Mayhem Group has sued the rapper for $11,669.60 as well as $1500 in interest. In total, they want $13,169.60 from him.
Despite the lawsuit, Offset has a lot of things to celebrate these days. The rapper and his wife, Cardi B, announced the arrival of their first child together, Kulture Kiari Cephus. The announcement came yesterday, just a day after Kulture's birth.
