Juelz Santana will remain in custody.

It looks like Juelz Santana will have to stay behind bars a little while longer. NorthJersey.com reports that Judge James B. Clark, III denied the NYC rapper’s request for bail on weapons and drug charges. The judge announced the ruling on Monday, when Juelz, who's real name is LaRon James, proposed a bail package in court, but it didn't work. It’s unclear what Juelz proposed in his package, but Judge Clark didn’t find it fair or sufficient enough for him to be released.

Juelz has been behind bars since March 12th after he turned himself in after he was on the run for a few days following an incident at Newark Airport where TSA agents found a gun and drugs in his possession. In fact, one of his bags included eight oxycodone pills, which resulted in a felony charge of possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

As a result of all these legal woes, it doesn’t look like fan will get to hear the long-awaited I Can't Feel My Face collab project with Lil Wayne, that he was teasing heavily right before the incident occurred. We just hope he gets out & home soon.

Some reports said that Juelz’s next court hearing was on April 9th, but that may not be true. His attorney Brian Neary told NorthJersey.com no other court date has been scheduled yet. So we’ll continue to keep you posted moving forward.
