In case you missed it, T.I. was arrested early Wednesday morning outside the gated community of where he lives. The ATL veteran was cited on misdemeanor charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after he he got in an argument with the security guard at his gate house for not letting him access the community without his keys.
Attorney Steve Sadow said T.I. was "wrongfully arrested early this morning when he attempted to gain entrance into his gated community -- where his wife 'Tiny' and his family reside."
“The guard continued to refuse entry without justification," the lawyer's statement said. "Words were exchanged and apparently the guard and/or a supervisor called the police. When the police arrived, they were not interested in hearing Tip's side of the story and wrongfully chose to end the situation by arresting Tip.”
Well now in the hours after the situation has calmed down, and T.I. is a free man, footage from Tip’s time in jail has surfaced, and it’s safe to say he sonned the hell out of the police officer who couldn't answer any of his questions and rightfully so.
Tip, who was rather calm while in jail, was adamant he didn't deserve to be arrested and kept asking the officers why he was, to which they couldn't answer him. In fact, the cop had the audacity to tell T.I. he shouldn't have returned to his home. I have to give Tip credit here for staying so cool and collective in such a hostile & messed up situation.
