Last year, long before the Drake-to-Adidas rumors, the Jordan Brand ambassador shared photos of several unreleased Air Jordans, including a couple of snakeskin Air Jordan 11s, a "Charles Oakley" Air Jordan 8 PE and a "Splatter" Air Jordan 4.
The latter, an unreleased sample from 1989, is similar to the beloved "Bred" Air Jordan 4 colorway with the addition of red laces and a white and red paint splatter around the midsole and heel. Detailed images of the kicks recently surfaced courtesy of sneaker collector depeche23mode, and it was revealed that this particular pair includes a gold OVO owl behind the heel tab.
Given Drake's impending move to Adidas, it is unlikely this OVO sample will ever hit retailers but rumors suggest a version of the "Splatter" Air Jordan 4s will drop sometime in 2019 in celebration of the shoe's 30th anniversary.
