Although her stint in Destiny's Child is not entirely memorable, at least one ex-member is clamoring for inclusion in future reunion performances. Singer Farrah Franklin only lasted 6 months with the group, but remains insistent that she is an important "cog" in the Destiny's Child timeline. Franklin and Michelle Williams were brought into the fold as replacements for the outgoing LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett, who were literally dropped without notice. A few months later, Franklin suffered the same fate, with the mild mannered Williams surviving the cut. It's been rumoured that Williams' "less combative attitude" played a major part. Needless to say, Franklin has her name in the history books, and nobody can take that away from her.
In this facetime interview, Franklin admits that "If the opportunity arose she wouldn't say no," but is also generally happy working on her own projects which include modelling, acting, and even a collaboration with New York rapper Maino. She seemed to be in a different headspace than in years past, even admitting that she had watched the Destiny's Child Coachella performance with gleeful intent. She closed the video conversation by gesturing to Beyonce to "call her." No love lost, could it be?
