Kygo brought out the singer for the live debut of her brand new single.

Ariana Grande was the first major surprise at Coachella weekend 2. After sharing the lead single from her upcoming fourth studio album on Friday, the singer made an unannounced appearance during Kygo's set at the festival Friday night. On top of the new Max Martin-produced track, Ariana did a cover of Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing."

Rumors of the singer's appearance at the festival began to circulate when she shared footage of herself and boyfriend Mac Miller taking a helicopter ride. Fans quickly (and correctly) predicted that the chopped was headed for the festival. Her manager, Scooter Braun also strongly hinted that she'd be doing something special at Coachella in a couple of thinly veiled tweets.

Grande released her third studio album Dangerous Woman in 2016. "No Tears Left To Cry" is the singer's first release since her 2017 concert in Manchester was the target of a bombing which left 23 dead and over 500 injured. The new single is an uplifting message following the tragedy.

Ariana's fourth studio album is currently without a release date. It is expected to be released at some point this year. Grande is the fourth most streamed woman on Apple Music, according to a report in March. The first three positions are occupied respectively by Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and Beyoncé.
