Although 50 Cent has denied the allegations that he kicked his former girlfriend and supposed baby mama, Daphne Joy, the rapper has to go to court to prove it.
Fif's hearing has been scheduled for today, Monday. If he's convicted, he could face up to five years in prison and $46,000 in fines. The argument between 50 and Daphne occurred on June 23rd, and the woman claims that Fif trashed her condo and proceeded to kick in her bedroom door before kicking her too, injuring her.
The police estimate there was $7,100 in damages to her home.
The woman, who was in a three-year relationship with the rapper, also claims to have a son with him.
We'll update you on the court appearance once details surface.
[UPDATE: 50 Cent Pleads Not Guilty]
50 Cent has entered and left the court room today, pleading not guilty to the charges of domestic violence. A judge has order Fif to stay away from his alleged baby mama (no confirmation on that either way), Daphne Joy, and turn in all his guns.
The protective order issued states that 50 is prohibited from contacting Daphne, and must stay 100 yards away from her at all times.
50 is due back in court in a month.
