Is there anything Black Thought can't do?

It's almost surreal to think that Black Thought is simultaneously one of the greatest lyricists of all time and the ringleader of Jimmy Fallon's house band. Yet lo and behold, such are the times we live in. Though Black Thought's far from finished with the music, having recently released an EP with 9th Wonder called Streams Of Thought, one can only imagine the Tonight Show bag is a welcome and consistent addition to his net worth. All things considered, Thought's dual roles only serve to enhance his mystique; an affable family man laughing alongside Jimmy Fallon one minute, a sweat-soaked lyricist furious spitting bars for ten minutes straight the next.

Last night, Black Thought's two worlds collided for a brief, albeit enjoyable moment. Granted, some Fallon viewers may not even understand the extent of Black Thought's talents, instead viewing this segment along the lines of Whose Line Is It Anyway's wholesome yet sharp improvisation. Yet Jimmy is well aware of who he's employing, and every so often, understands that Black Thought needs to be set free. In honor of the upcoming Jurassic Park: Fallen Kingdom, Black Thought took the time to catch listeners up with the entire franchise.

This isn't his first lyrical recap, and it surely won't be his last. Black Thought previously delivered a few enjoyable retellings of Game Of Thrones' sprawling narrative. Admittedly, the plot of Thrones is far more complex than that of Jurassic Park, but Black Thought can weave gold from thread, a la Rumpelstiltskin.
