Since officially signing with the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James has already entered negotiations to star in an untitled comedy that his production company sold, in addition to his rumored starring role in Space Jam 2.

Knowing how much LeBron studies the game of basketball and works at his craft on the court, it should come as no surprise that he's taking the same approach to his off-court projects. And that includes meeting with, and picking the brains of, some of the greatest minds in the entertainment business.

According to TMZ Sports, the 33-year old All-Star and his business partner Maverick Carter linked up with Leonardo DiCaprio and Al Pacino on Wednesday night at the upscale restaurant Avra in Beverly Hills. While we'll likely never know the topic of conversation at the dinner, it's reasonable to believe there was some talk about 'Bron's recent moves both on and off the court. As we know, DiCaprio is a big Lakers fan and has to be thrilled that he'll get to watch the 4x NBA MVP in action from his courtside seats at Staples Center throughout the next few years.

On top of the aforementioned projects, LeBron is set to co-produce a new documentary on HBO showcasing "the exploitative world of high-revenue college sports." According to a recent press release, the HBO Sports documentary titled "Student Athlete" will debut on October 2nd at 10:00pm ET on HBO. The documentary will reveal the stories of four young men at different stages of their athletic careers, as well as a coach-turned-advocate and a whistle-blowing shoe rep who exposes the money trail.
