Things aren't looking good for the self-proclaimed king of New York.

Tekashi 6ix9ine and his trolling ways have been relatively absent on our Instagram feeds over the past month. It's likely due to the fact that he's been in Europe on his "World Domination" tour, but he's still managed to clown a few people while he was overseas. Earlier today, it was reported that the "TATI" rapper was arrested as he landed in JFK airport on an outstanding warrant for allegedly choking a teen in a Texas mall. Unfortunately for him, it looks like he won't even be able to head home for at least the next week.

According to TMZ, Tekashi 6ix9ine is potentially spending the next week in an NYC jail before he's sent to Houston in order to face a judge over the alleged choking incident in January. The Manhattan District Attorney's Office rep said that Tekashi 6ix9ine was arraigned and will tentatively stay in police custody until July 20th. Houston authorities are expected to get him for the arrest warrant a judge issued in May.

Unfortunately, the rapper had a show in New Jersey this Friday. If you were planning on attending, there's a good chance you get to see him perform.

According to reports, his team was aware of the arrest warrant but they felt that the NYPD had no business in arresting him earlier today. They're planning on dealing with the situation soon.

We'll keep you posted on more information about 6ix9ine's legal woes.
