Stranger Things took the world by storm when it premiered two years ago. The casts of the Netflix series are all worldwide stars now, and the talented team got together at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angles on Sunday for Paleyfest. Fans have been scrounging the internet intensely for any piece of new developments happening in the town of Hawkins, Indiana. They were rewarded by executive producer Shawn Levy.
On the red carpet, prior to the panel with the entire cast, Levy revealed that a year will have gone by in-between seasons two and three of the series. He also disclosed that some of the shows main characters will be dating. "Mike and Eleven and are going strong, so that's a relationship that continues, and same with Mad Max and Lucas. But again, they're like 13- or 14-year-old kids, so what does romance mean at that stage of life? It can never be simple and stable relationships and there's fun to that instability," Levy stated.
Much like season 2 had a Michael Jackson "Thriller" theme, the next season will feature a Back to the Future theme. During the panel, the cast spoke about getting to know each other personally, challenges on set, and differences between each season of the show.
