"I drink, and I know things."

The characters on Game of Thrones sure do a great deal of drinking. Then again, if you lived in a world where winters last years, dragons exist, and mythical creatures murder people, you may need a drink too. Fans will have to wait until next year to get their Game of Thrones fix, but they'll at least be able to drink like they're in Westeros will a new line of Scotch whiskeys.

Diageo will be bringing the Game of Thrones inspired whiskeys to life. Diageo is the liquor giant that controls Tanqueray, Captain Morgan, Don Julio, Smirnoff, Ketel One, Cîroc, Johnnie Walker, Crown Royal, Bulleit, Seagram's, Lagavulin, and many others. There will be a Scotch collaboration for several of the GoT houses, one for the Night's Watch, and another for the White Walkers. The White Walker comes from Johnnie Walker, and features a bottle that glows blue when kept in the freezer.

I'm more interested in the single-malt collection of Scotch whiskeys though, and Diageo will deliver a range of them. The 9-year-aged House Lannister Scotch from Lagavulin sounds like a Scotch drinker's paradise. The House Stark Winter's Frost Scotch from Dalwhinnie also sounds like a delicious concoction. Each of the eight Game of Thrones single malt Scotch whiskeys were created by a different Diageo-owned Scottish distiller, and range from $29.99 to $64.99.
