Chicken and waffles have become a mainstay in many comfort food menus, becoming one excessively fatty indulgence many are willing to satiate themselves with. However, notable seafood chain Red Lobster is looking to capitalize on this beloved duo by introducing an original dish featuring lobsters, and waffles.
Starting today, Red Lobster will be offering this new item on its menus nationwide. The waffle will be fashioned from the same batter used to create their mouth-watering Cheddar Bay Biscuits. The accompanying lobster tail will be crispy, buttermilk-battered, with a little bit of maple syrup drizzled on top.
The dish will then add a little cheese to compliment its sweet and savoury aspects, giving the dish a variety of flavours and textures to indulge in.
The price tag for this hybrid food will differ between markets, but will average around $19.99 a plate. This will only be around for a limited time, so make sure to cop yourself a piece of greasy goodness before it's gone for good.
