Yesterday afternoon Kanye West unveiled several unreleased Yeezy sneakers, including a colorful assortment of Yeezy Boost samples, a chunky Yeezy slide, a brand new silhouette that appears to be the very first Yeezy basketball performance shoe, and an early prototype of the "Yeezy 451."
Additionally, Kanye shared photos of two new pastel colorways of the Yeezy 500. Apparently, the kicks didn't impress Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll, who took to twitter to troll 'Ye about his new kicks, claiming the Nike Air Monarchs put them to shame.
"I got some Air Monarchs for you that'll put those to shame!!," Carroll quoted the Yeezy 500 tweet.
Carroll has never denied his love for the "dad shoe" that is the Nike Air Monarch, and even had an exclusive pair made in his honor. His tweet, shown below, comes just a few days after Kanye returned to twitter and called out Nike for copying his Yeezy 700 design on their new Nike M2K Tekno. Kanye later deleted that tweet but it seems Pete Carroll hasn't forgotten.
